I don't know if I'm the only one using the #IHeartMastodon hashtag but it is first and foremost a way of expressing appreciation for everyone who keeps this network running. Well, plus the great content and (multiple) tools to handle all kinds of filtering and moderation issues.

@nathan I hope this came across in my earlier posts, but I wasn't scared. Not only could I tell you were on top of fixing the technical problems (and amazingly finding time to keep us updated too), but the wider community is amazing in terms of letting you turn off signups without worrying that no one can join the network, giving you technical support, and generally taking an attitude that we know how to get through this. #scaling #IHeartMastodon

@counselorcarl I am of the school of thought that says (a) having too much load on #mastodon right now is a good problem to have and (b) if I can't have #caturday I don't want to be part of your revolution. So it is all good. #IHeartMastodon

Donate to the Patreon (for those who can afford it)? Sure. Stay away from all our new friends just when our feeds are really getting interesting?
