It is probably easier to setup #TransparentTor first and then DigitalFeudalismCounterAction (DFCA) after that.

DFCA needs to be first in the firewall and it works really well. One can run 'wget' in the command line and the DNS will go through Tor and *after* that the IP address will be blocked (not go through #Tor) if the #IPAddress is CAGeMAFIA.

It's a nice one-two punch, because DFCA actually tells when it blocks #CAGEMAFIA, it doesn't just block.

The DeCloudflare git project is hosted at all good, git repos.

It also has a list of CloudFlare #IPAddress ASN from which anyone can produce a list of #IPAddresses to block, for as long as needed.

Yes, its so important to not have #DNSLookups tied to your #IPAddress.

We spent some time a year or so ago on fedi informing of a bug found in the #ArchlinuxWiki, where their #transparentProxy instructions were flawed. We never got a response from any contributors to that wiki at the time, and to our knowledge the instructions were never fixed.

Great writing.

The ability of the #dotCons to coopt #grassroots movements is age-old. Its requires education to avoid it.

The "problem" of people knowing your #IPAddress in terms of #privacy, is basically solved in #I2P and Tor. The former we consider better because it does support (and indeed feature) #torrenting, but that's not the only reason we prefer it.
