@BreadAndSalt Spent some time looking at #irv or #rcv negative aspects.
Simplicity- 90+% call it simple in places that use it.
Tabulation complexity- Paper tiger argument .
Security- always a problem.
One person one vote violation - disingenuous argument.
The +s for me out weight the negs. Center squeeze not a huge problem. Better options R complex. I see irv as a good compromise that alters the game in ways I want. Spin on this topic is heavy /interest based. Thx 4 kindness + info.

@alienghic There's a really long theoretical underpinning in voting theory that basically concludes that "instant run-off is bad" ... and the only thing that is worse is plurality voting.

#RFC: #FreeCoop should be a platform to organize small worker #coop

The platform should provide features to:
- Add new members
- Hold elections and votes
- Find tasks for the coop to complete.
- Decide on how members are payed.
- Remove members

I currently plan to only develop the #IRV scheme for votes - but if there is a desire for other voting schemes or more variability on the kind of groups FreeCoop should enable, I'd be happy to develop those too.
