Tom, speaking of external standards, what are your thoughts about the #ISTE Standards?

They come with lots of complex sentences and language describing teachers, learners, coaches, and computer science. In a lot of ways, they are aspirational. I don't know if I would hold people accountable with them, though. That is the danger of standards...holding people accountable to something that isn't evidence-based.
