Hello fellow #geeks

So my son's laptop wasn't powering on at school, but was fine at home (it really only moves between home and there).

After much troubleshooting I took it to a repair place. Specifically said I thought the issue was with the power plug (ie not powering on when unplugged after sitting on battery for a while).

It comes back with the assurance that it was the power settings in windows and allegedly there was a virus he got rid of.

Took it down to the school for a test run today... it didn't power on!

In sheer desperate desperation I convinced my son to grab his power cord and plug it into the laptop. We stayed in the car, no power plugs available.

The damn thing actually turned on!!

Has anyone else ever experienced this issue? It is bizarre!!

Inspired by the skills of the #ITCrowd my wife showed me how to unplug the #ev and plug it back in again. Seemed to work on attempt number three.
