UK keeps expanding bio-destructive roads into pristine nature. Here in #Norfolk a recent super-colony is threatened by 2 schemes in core sustenance zone. One scheme pass through the epicentre - unbelievable when the bats are #IUCN protected species.

Norfolk has woodland just west of Norwich which is literally heaving with rare barbastelle bats in a recently discovered super-colony. They are threatened by multiple road schemes, including the NWL and A47.

First toot pic from fungi survey last Friday. This magnificent group of Lilac Pinkgills near Stoke Abbot in west Dorset. This species Entoloma porphyrophaeum is our largest Pinkgill. It’s also listed as Vu in the #IUCN Red List but probably not so in UK🙂
