Great talk by Veronica Tollenaar on #BlueIce areas in #Antarctica that somehow manages to unite meteorites, machine learning, satellite data and the impact of #ClimateChange ..

It turns out that warming temperatures help the #meteorites melt their way into the ice and be lost.

#IUGG some of the presenters have problems answering questions because of language issues. I’m sure they could give an insightful answer in their own language, but I wouldn’t understand. Now we both struggle in our non-native broken English. Time for some simultaneous translators?
