This game spikes very quickly at this point.

Reading old 1st edition #ForgottenRealms sourcebooks and playing #IcewindDale , I kind of want to rather set up an actual #OSRIC campaign.

But with what's being popular right now, I think starting an #OSE campaign and sneaking in some Advanced class options will probably get a lot more response.

Now the real adventure begins.

I think I've not played this game in 20 years. Might have started it once but don't think I've gotten far. Still know the prolog inside out. Not so sure about the mountain pass, and things will get really interesting once I get to the Vale of Shadows.

First session of #IcewindDale #RimeOfTheFrostmaiden tonight and it was great. Started off with an introductory quest on the journey to Ten Towns that the players dealt with in a unique manner. Then we headed into Bryn Shander where the darker elements of the campaign immediately reared their head. Again, the players went in a unique direction and I can see that I'm going to be kept on my toes here. Looking forward to the next session in the new year. #ForgottenRealms #DnD5e #DnD #TTRPG #RPG

A week's leave so, aside from the chores Mrs FG has left me, I'm going to be doing some more prep on my #IcewindDale #RimeOfTheFrostmaiden campaign. Playing the Android version of #IcewindDale on #SamsungDex is surreal. I had the original version for my Windows 98 PC back when it released. It's almost identical, and in many ways, full of small but very welcome improvements. A remarkable feat by a team who are very clearly passionate fans of the old #BioWare games.
