The #IconFactory folks comment on their plans for a #Twitterrific for #Mastodon or the #fediverse.

TL;DR: Not right now, the (small) team is focused on another project for the next couple months. After that, they're thinking about not just Masto, but the greater 'verse and its potential.

Seeing the outpouring of mourning for the demise of #Twitterrific and support for its developers at The #Iconfactory, it dawns on me, though I’ve really always known it, that the reason we’re also so angry is that Twitterrific and its noble competitor #Tweetbot have always been much, much better at being #twitter than twitter ever was.

After years of using #Twitterrific
it looks like #ElonMusk has switched off the API for third party #Twitter apps, which is not unexpected but a great shame, and another nail in the coffin. Another good reason for people to migrate to #Mastodon. I would love #IconFactory to produce such an app for Mastodon.

Which is your favourite #Mastodon iOS app? I’ve tried the native #MastodonApp, #Metatext, #Mastoot, #Tooot, #TwidereX & the #Mammoth beta.
I think my favourites are the native app and Metatext so far, although I understand that development on the latter has stopped.
What what be a killer for me is an app that shows both toots and tweets, like #Twidere on Android.
