Their near universal failure to do so is a clear indication that they do not consider people who rely upon Alt Text to be a part of their audience, and worthy of being as informed as those of us who don't need full and accurate image descriptions.
This may seem minor to you.
To me, it's yet another indicator as to how journalism is failing us all.

There's a valid reason why #SpiderMan: #AcrossTheSpiderse is back to being number one at the #BoxOffice: It's a good story, well and beautifully told and sets a new, very high, standard for #animation.
