Florida Republicans are telling undocumented immigrants that the new bill they passed making like much harder for them is “not that bad” because these same workers are vital to Florida agriculture and are threatening to leave. The GOP ignores the fact that undocumented immigrants have a net positive effect on our economy at their peril….could we have a purple Florida by the next election cycle? Hmm…

Ethnicity: the population of England and Wales is 82% white (from 86% in 2011) + three-quarters white British (74.4%).

Asian groups 9% (5.5 million)
Black people 4% (2.4 milliion)
1.7 million (3%) are mixed race, up from 1.2 million since 2011; tripling from 600k since 2001.
