Yay! I was awarded a grant via @acoem in partnership with #CDC and CMSS to attempt to improve adult #vaccination rates in an #OccupationalHealth setting.

This is interesting because in #OccEnvMed we see lots of people that basically NEVER go to the doctor regularly, such as injured workers or those for pre-employment exams.

A small (but mighty) part of this is simply handing someone their #immunization record from our state's #PublicHealth dept. Hope that helps!

This is dangerous because a high number of people immunized against vaccine-preventable diseases reduces the risk of transmission for infections most practicing physicians haven't seen.
