One of the patterns in the UK's #employment crisis is that where #migrants come to work, they are exploited & maltreated... and many, due to the routes by which they got here & their dependence on 'sponsoring' employers are often unwilling to speak out.

The #socialcare crisis is one key sector where this is happening & suggests that the idea that the UK has put #imperial attitudes to non-UK #workers behind it is sadly mistaken - they're still treated appallingly!

Not every country in the World has the amount of natural resources to count either.

The imperial measurement system was borrowed from England and used to measure land and lumber for financing. The USA is blessed with an abundance of resources, even still today.
