Great Albums – 1970s: #CheapTrick – #InColor (1977/ 1997). I’m an odd one for preferring the studio versions of these tracks to those on Budokan (which despite infectious energy sounds like it was recorded in a Quonset hut). Tom Werman’s slick production slotted the mighty Trick into more of a pop sleeve than they liked, but the songs are consistently great.
