Guess I’m fueling on coffee, turning on the Ratatat playlist, and zoning in on #InboxZero instead.

One of my last #DataLogging work-related goals for the year was to get my email #inbox below 100 items. Let's see if I can keep it in the two-digit range for at least a month next year before things start accumulating again.

I actively file a lot of incoming emails so any left in the inbox items represent things where I feel I'm meant to be doing something.

Not #InboxZero.

@caseynewton I’m addition to that, I set up a mail rule that dumps anyone not in my “VIP” contacts list in a “screener” folder which is set to delete emails older than 60 days.

@theJMR I have 90% of my Gmail inbox automated: I get to check my newsletters in one folder, and only the priority emails get to the top.

At my last count, I had over 350 rules applied to my Gmail. Which, on the face of it, seems like it's overkill. 🤣
