Been thinking about using #backgrounds in my comics like animation cells (not redrawing for each panel.)

And may very well use a edward gorey like fixed perspective so back grounds are interchangeable.

I like detailed backgrounds but dont want to cross hatch my life away.

Telling storts in a more abstract way has been on my mind all year.

Is there any tips for #indiecomics on how to develop a page layout?

..well I ended up backing a different #kickstarter than the one I mentioned this morning.

I had somehow missed this #comics bad boy. Not only is it a little more friendly to my budget, it includes FRIGGIN' GIANT MECHS!

Not only is it cool looking, it has amazingly low support levels ($10 for issue one with shipping included in the US so I bought that and a few more of their back issue #comics in the Add-On levels (those are limited)

Saw an interesting #comicbook but the creator's #socialmedia was all "me-me" self-promo so I passed

I'll never have enough money to support every interesting #crowdfunding project I come across, so I have begun limiting my support of #indie #comicbooks to #creators that I can find out a bit about and interact with and seem to appreciate their #fans

@kyanos thank you! I took a LONG break from comics, so I understand. Primarily we review a lot of really old stuff, because the Silver and Bronze Age are kinda hilarious.😁

Newer good/fun #comics with art I like includes Jurassic League which is just a fun play on the legendary JLA with dinosaurs and Savage Avengers is an odd mix of characters that works.

Also been supporting a ton of #indiecomics #kickstarter projects - really good #comicbooks stuff out there sometimes!
