In meinem Marathon der #Netflix #Mystery #Serien bin ich jetzt mit der isländischen Produktion #Katla fertig. Bisher die schwächste. Es passiert einfach kaum etwas. Hätte eher zu einem #IndieFilm gepasst. Auch die Auflösung kam aus dem Nichts und funktionierte einfach nicht. Dafür war das Finale ausnehmend deprimierend. Das es noch einen Teaser auf eine mögliche 2. Staffel gibt hat mich auch gestört, wenn sie noch Ideen haben hätten sie die lieber hier reingetan.

I was briefly puzzled about why I kept seeing posts about that Brad Pitt film, Babylon. Then I realised. I followed hashtags for a load of my favourite things, including Babylon - the 1980 UK film (which couldn't be more different).

Anyway, I highly recommend *this* Babylon and believe it's currently on Prime, Apple TV and YouTube.

There’s also talk about about a son who escaped and survived, these tourists were warned to stay away from Charlie’s Farm. The legend might be real. This is very graphic and sometimes hard to watch. Ok so yesterday someone mentioned a movie called Bumperkleef (I’ll tag if I find the post) and while searching for it, I found the wrong movie, Tailgate (2015) that turned out to be pretty damn good! Most of the movie is a driver with an unknown man in his trunk. They are both trying to figure out what is going on. There is also a note in the trunk that says “in 3 days, kill him”. It was very good for a movie for having basically 2 people in a car, in it. I saw it on Tubi. #horror #indiefilm

A broke band finally gets their big break and while looking for a van to do shows, they gain a roadie. Just call him Uncle Peckerhead! He’ll drive and do it for food and gas money. When their first gig is a bust, Peckerhead, gets them a bigger cut. But not before the band catches him eating the club manager. Peck seems apologetic so the band reluctantly continues on but Peckerhead keeps on killing. He can’t help it, he has to eat and he only eats bad guys, mostly. #horror #movies #indiefilm
