I need some real #film nerds help on this one. I need more #fantasy or #adventure in my life. BUT, I want low budget films / #IndieFilms recommended.

My issue is that they always seem really bad. I also don't want to stretch the limits here. I've tried this before and just keep getting horror films. I want Dresden Files shot with 50k and a dream. Lord of the Rings where the cast was chosen cause they happen to be larpers.

Saw Solomon King (See Link) in Philly and kept thinking how cool are those rose hued polyester pants and that there really was only one way to wear a halter top and the for real jumpy camera capturing a whole scene of 1970s life never to be repeated.

I also had a whole dissertation going on about Blackploitation films within the context of the post-Vietnam era, Civil Rights, national priorities... oil...
