Pay attention to this low-key anti-#Indiginous headline. It puts a target on the tribes (the only entities with a stake in the #ColoradoRiver who have voluntarily underused their allotted resources), when it was the states who refused last year to make federally-ordered water cutbacks---and in the case of Arizona, who are allowing Saudi Arabian companies to export #Colorado riverwater in the form of alfalfa.

The lede graf continues the vaguely anti-#Native framing.

I wrote this in 2019 before the general election in the UK. It was part of a longer essay, yet sums up the dilemma we face. I don't think much has changed since then.
#Feminism is one part of this.
#BlackLivesMatter is another.
#Indiginous rights too.
As is #Inequality, and the faults inherent in #Capitalism more generally.

Only we can collectively choose the right path: we are many, they are few.

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it. So sorry to Indigenous folk that people from my country, Britain, colonized your lands.
