@eniko it's one of the more recent animation efforts that I first came across due to their support for SVG. Heck, I could probably force some of this into #Inkscape, but adside from icons that doesn't seem like the right tool.

(Hmm... but as a side note I did do most of its palette support... Might be good to at least enable those there)

Da würde ich ein #opensource Vektorgrafik Programm empfehlen.

Vorteil gegenüber Bitmap, es kann ohne Qualitäts Verlust belebig skaliert werden.

Bitmap Nachteil, verkleinern geht immer.
Beim vergrößern werden die Pixel sichtbar

First secret is that the help menu in #Inkscape is actually helpful. Once you work through the tutorials there you should at least have the UI down.

I typically design my models with #OpenSCAD if geometries are simple enough, otherwise only parts that I will assemble precisely with #freecad .
Sometimes, if I need a complex flat surface, I use #Inkscape , then import SVG to OpenSCAD and do my stuff there (like holes and threads).

First time using #Inkscape new and shiny shape builder but seems like exactly what I need
