Series 8 of #InsideNo9 is now officially available in the U.S. via Britbox. And the NY Post (!?) weighs in with a long writeup about S08E05, the fake #gameshow episode, and the negotiations with the BBC that went with it. Full of spoilers.

Finished series 8 of Inside No. 9. Paraskevidekatriaphobia and Love Is A Stranger didn't hit it out of the park so I was worried the show was starting to decline but the end of the series was as strong as ever.

Ultimately the weakest episodes aren't any weaker than the "worse" ones in earlier series, the good ones are good even by the high bar it's set for itself, still one of the best things on UK TV. It's just not series 7.

Giving up on #BlackMirror halfway through the latest season. Not sure if Brooker's lost his edge or if the #Netflix contract doesn't allow him to do anything that isn't bland these days. Thank God #InsideNo9 is maintaining the standard for interesting (& nasty!) TV.

I just started watching #TalesFromTheCrypt. I needed another half-hour-horror-anthology show to fill the void that has been left now that I am finally caught up on #InsideNo9, and early indications are that it's going to fit the bill beautifully 👍

Before trusting #Google #Bard with ... well, just about anything, here's what it has to say about the game show "3 By 3" -- which, in reality, isn't a game show at all; it's the one-time fake (and, um, one could say, literally mind-blowing!) game show that aired as last week's episode of #InsideNo9. The only actual "fact" in this whole thing is that Lee Mack was the host of the fake game show. Everything else? 💩

Today I realized I'd missed the 'live special' Dead Line on my recent watch through of #InsideNo9.

I have now corrected this mistake, and... omg it's genuinely a very scary bit if telly! It's reminiscent of #Ghostwatch, which some of you will recognize as high praise indeed.
