Finished series 8 of Inside No. 9. Paraskevidekatriaphobia and Love Is A Stranger didn't hit it out of the park so I was worried the show was starting to decline but the end of the series was as strong as ever.

Ultimately the weakest episodes aren't any weaker than the "worse" ones in earlier series, the good ones are good even by the high bar it's set for itself, still one of the best things on UK TV. It's just not series 7.

Roll on the next series - the big one!

Such a shame that Inside Number 9 has gone off the boil. A genuinely great anthology series really seems to have run out of steam. I wonder why they pulled the On The Buses episode tonight. #InsideNumber9

It's probably a bit odd how much I love medieval churches. St. Lawrence's in Warkworth was lovely but maybe made a bit more special by the spooky nun sitting quietly at the back (probably spookier since we had just watched the 'champing' episode of 'Inside Number 9') - the ghost nun can be seen in one of the pics.
