@andresmh 1/5 Computing has a conflicted role in sustainability. Most of us hope IT can help us make our societies more sustainable and equitable. But right now the balance looks grim. Computing seems insolvent: incapable of paying back the societal & environmental debts it incurs. Benefits are unfairly distributed and harms hit those with little or no say in tech design, including future generations and non-human nature. Collectively, we can change that. #InsolventBook
