I forgot this gem of a series, which makes me a bad 'Inspector Morse' fan. And it's a theme that's just so distinctive and perfect for the character.

A crotchety, melancholy John Thaw + Oxford = pure bliss.

This also reminds me I need to actually, you know, sit down and *read* the novels the series was based on.

Also, #InspectorMorse still looks like crap on #4K because it was filmed in the 1980s/1990s and has presumably never had a digital upgrade?

What is this, for instance, on the side (it moves)? Is this a 4K thing or a general HD thing? I don't remember seeing this on my other TV.
