Looking at #interactions I'm having here vs. over at the birdsite:

It still seems very random who gets to see what I post, same for what I see of others.

Replies happen in a very short period of time after posting but rarely more than an hour later.

I share the strong reservations against profit driven #algorithms. But we would gain a lot by (optionally) using algorithms that point us to content we're actually interested in without having to scroll through everything forever.

Interacting here feels way different than Twitter. I can’t even compare it to FB cause I quit it 5 years ago.
It’s a strange world, but I like it so far. I could possibly get used to it? 🧐

I can become very upset when I don't get the purpose and the rule under which #interactions are supposed to be determined. Moreover, it's when I realized a rule I thought I got right changes, and suddenly it put in question my whole understanding of social life. I've learned to ask direct questions when those situations come up, but few people understand the assignement and rare are the operational answers I can apply afterwards.
