@berkes @htimsxela Look into #Interledger. There is really no need for a "trust line" to be committed on a chain. They are inherently based on trust (trust lines..), so they can perfectly be managed off-chain. Interledger is basically a generalization of Lightning where a lightning channel is a ledger with 2 members. A trust line is similar but without the enforcement. And banks f.e. could provide a ledger with many members.
