This is worse #InternationalRugbyLeague news though. The highlights of the last #RugbyLeagueWorldCup were Greece & Jamaica. Expanding to 16 teams was a good idea, they just should have kept the Group Stage format the same as 2013 & 2017 with 2 elite groups where 3 teams qualify & 2 "minnows'" groups where only 1 qualifies. That format made some great games in previous #RLWC years.

Great news that they're finally getting #InternationalRugbyLeague sorted with a proper calendar; especially the compettitions for the smaller nations, the Asia-Pacific one should be very good & the European one is an opportunity to develop the game. Still perfer the 4 Nations to 3 Test series though.
