Lest you think modern #InternetOfShit devices have the market cornered on bugs, I just found a bug in the solid state control board logic in my 18 year old refrigerator. It has a flow meter that tracks usage for filter replacement reminder and measured fill in the door water dispenser. Turns out, if you reset the filter replacement reminder while the measured fill is displaying a desired fill amount (but not filling), it will go green, but back to red when the measured fill setting times out.

A lot of questions for iRobot to answer, and once again it raises up the problem of IoT devices collecting data and sharing with third parties. As much as I respect the abilities of those vaccum machines, I despise such policies.
