Just finished an interview and kicking myself SO hard for screwing up the conditionals in a problem where the goal is to 'bucket' latency numbers into groups of ranges and then print the counts.

Totally the kind of thing I'd catch and fix in first round debugging but just as I saw what I'd done I was out of time :)

Gonna go redo that THE RIGHT WAY so I can ace it next time :)

The last time I did a job search, one of the questions I started asking in interviews was “what distinguishes an employee at your company who meets your expectations from someone who is truly outstanding”? If the response was phrased in terms of hours per week, I knew that was not the company for me.
