*Winifred Holtby's South Riding (1935); great on local politics. *Lettice Cooper's Leeds novel, National Provincial (1938), similarly. *Caroline Maclean's Circles and Squares (2020) on #HenryMoore, #BarbaraHepworth & #HerbertRead.
*#EdCaesar's #Moth&theMountain, on the eccentric Maurice Wilson, Bradford manufacturer's son. What a read!
