🔴 The one where extreme far-right agitator, Graham Carey is telling his #IrelandIsFull #Finglas gang to get guns. Yep...GUNS.

If you believe #IrelandisFull then have a look at the facts -we're a lower population density than France, Switzerland, UK etc. https://www.indexmundi.com/g/r.aspx?v=21000

I was reading this article (paywall but you can get the gist from the headline) and it mentioned that the #IrelandIsFull hashtag has been trending recently so, with some trepidation, I decided to search for it here on Mastodon. I needn't have worried: 4 tweets in the past 3 months and none of them complaining about immigrants or immigration.
‘We were afraid’: Ireland’s far-right is mobilising, and they are coming to a town near you
Remember, when you say #IrelandIsFull, that we had 3,000,000 more people in the country before the famine.
Don't worry, we have enough space. Ireland is not full.
Now on mastodon.. see how it goes.. No doubt Space Karen will welcome all the #Irelandisfull crew onboard.
To all of those arguing that #IrelandIsFull it is evidently not full enough if you are still carrying insular semi-racist views and I think the rest of us would rather share our societal spaces with more like minded people from diverse backgrounds than with home grown bigots.
#IrelandIsFull #IrelandIsNotFull
Looked through the #IrelandisFull hashtag and glad to say that the only people I follow engaging with it were doing so in opposition to it.
Fair play to you all 👏🏻

Before the Famine, Ireland's population stood at about 8.5 million, it's currently around 5.1 million. Ireland is not full. We need decent national infrastructure & immigration can help us do this. Blame politics. And yes, I'm a tax-paying business-owning immigrant #IrelandisFull
