Yep, and that's interesting. There's a term for that, where you give someone European features but a different skin tone, but I forget what it's called off the top of my head.

But yeah, it usually works a lot better. The characters either are dismissed as "not for me" if they're not particularly good or interesting (which is how many reacted to #Ironheart), or they are actually pretty well received, like the #MilesMorales #Spiderman from #Marvel's Ultimate universe.

Saw #WakandaForever last night. It was a beautiful tribute to #ChadwickBoseman as well as a fantastic introduction to #Namor and #Ironheart. I'm very much looking forward to where these characters go from here.
