Reading #TheHacienda by #IsabelCañas & while I went in knowing it was gothic, I am still irritated by all the usual bad decisions people in gothic stories make. So far, I have screeched to an empty room that WE DON'T MARRY MEN WITH DEAD SPOUSES NO ONE WILL TALK ABOUT & that WE DON'T GET DRUNK IN HAUNTED HOUSES.
