J'avais beaucoup aimé il y a quelques années la lecture d'Un artiste du monde flottant, #spoiler encore, sur un peintre japonais après la Seconde Guerre mondiale dont on découvre peu à peu son rôle dans la propagande du régime jingoïste.

Dans Les Vestiges du jour, on retrouve un peu cette même dynamique avec un scénario qui dévoile peu à peu les fantômes trèèès gênants du passé, avec la Seconde Guerre mondiale en pivot.
