Loch Seaforth, Isle of Harris.
Don't know about you, but there are locations that I pass (regularly or not so) that seem to have the conditions just right for the photograph I want to take when I don't have the time to stop. This is one of the occasions that I had the time, but not the conditions.

Mastodon among German speakers has this # called #FensterFreitag — #WindowFriday. So it’s all about windows and views of and through windows. Quite fascinating.
Here’s one tiny #window in the ruins of a small late medieval chapel; the area is referred to as the Temple, Rubh' an Teampaill, near Northton on the #IsleOfHarris #OuterHebrides #Scotland.

Ooh. Love a good standing stone, and apparently we have #StandingStoneSunday here?
This is Macleod's Stone on the #IsleOfHarris in the #OuterHebrides of #Scotland, and a mighty fine stone it is.
I've found you pretty much always get an excellent view with a Scottish standing stone. The blue sky is not *quite* as reliable.

It’s Macleod's Stone on the #IsleOfHarris #OuterHebrides #Scotland, and it can be found up a wee hill from Tràigh Iar beach. The #IsleOfTaransay can be seen in the background and some of the Isle of Harris’ most beautiful beaches are just around the corner.
If you’re ever in the area, here’s a lovely walk that includes the stone and both Tràigh Iar and Tràigh Niosaboit beach:
