It will be intresting how the community responds to the #Twitter #sourcode and the #pullrequests and #issues that will be created.

I also look forward to see how Twitter responds to this. Many #opensource projects are actually very hesitant to introduce pull requests and issues by the community which are not direct bug fixes. I wonder how Twitter will respond and if this opportunity to contribute is true or just something to keep us distracted.

For those of you who want to #contribute to #Mastodon source code but have no idea where to start with #opensource.

Check out the "beginner friendly" tag in the #issues on #Github. It contains issues that are far simpler.

So it will help you get your feet wet and get the feel for the code, as well as learn how such a big project works and handles contributions.

They are far more lenient and open there expecting beginners. The other issues are a bit higher level, which could lead to your own frustration or from the community.

Data encryption is not enough to protect telecommunications privacy from #quantum computers and #AI surveillance. The communication channel itself must be made information-theoretically secure. This can be accomplished with the same cost and resources as operating the Internet.

Some of our inventions are still being used by a Japanese company. It is an implementation of the Attestation functionality for employee authentication, one of a set of technologies that make up a non-taggable communication channel system. The system is information-theoretically secure, except for intentional fraud by insiders.

Just updated my Visual Studio to version 17.4.1 and then spent the next hour trying to figure out how to get my .NET MAUI app to run again since the compiler will not recognize API 31. I ended up having to install Android Studio and download the emulator I needed and that solved the issue.

dillemma a friend in colorado has been using my netflix account for the last 2 years or so,

and i need to change my password, otherwise i can get into it by saying forgot password. but i dont know the password anymore.

i dont think i have her phone # but i might, otherwise i'd tell her the new password after changing it,
