Pur apprezzando molto l'architettura della parte occidentale, troppo troppo casino in giro e la sensazione di essere circondati da trappole per turisti è palpabile ad ogni angolo, rendendo l'atmosfera un pochino più finta che nella parte orientale.
Per carità, questa dicotomia occidente/oriente è strepitosa e Santa Sofia e la Moschea Blu ti tolgono il fiato ma #teamoriente #Istanbul per quanto mi riguarda.

Der 21. jährliche Pride Marsch in Istanbul fand trotz des Verbots statt. Erklärungen wurden verlesen, symbolische Regenbogenfahnen gehisst und die Polizeirazzien dauerten bis spät in die Nacht des 25. Juni an. Allein in Istanbul wurden über 100 Personen festgenommen. Der Hashtag #dönüyoruz (wir kommen wieder) war das Motto der diesjährigen Pride in der Türkei.

The 21st annual Pride march in Istanbul took place despite the ban. Statements were read, symbolic rainbow flags were raised, and police raids continued into the night of June 25. More than 100 people were arrested in Istanbul alone. The hashtag #dönüyoruz (we will return) was the motto of this year's Pride in Turkey.

E.g., we have collections from 1864 from a place called "Phèner Baghtché". This looks odd but if you consider that the collector might be French, then this sounds simply like "#Fenerbahçe". Yes, the it's the same place where the famous #football club has it's name from, a suburb of #Istanbul, #Türkiye.
