Ugh. Steam needs a "mid" review. I got Ixion and it's got some great fundamentals. I love the gameplay loop! But I almost just got stuck in a plot event. I couldn't back out of it, but I couldn't make the MacGuffin it needed. It really needs some polish. #Steam #ixion

Finished IXION last night. Loved it all the way through! But I guess me liking space games will not come as a major surprise to anyone. Just one minor disappointment: the story hinted at so many little mysteries, but those never lead anywhere. I've been listening to the awesome #IXION Soundtrack for hours now. Guillaume David has quickly become one of my all time favorite composers. The soundtrack he did for WH40k Mechanicus was absolutely phenomenal but the IXION soundtrack might even have more tracks on it which I want to hear again and again. <3

#IXION is a #city-management game with an #awesome #premise. I personally love the gameplay and setting behind it, there's definitely a good game there.

Unfortunately, lack of controller support (or more keybindings), framerate, and graphical issues make this harder to enjoy on #SteamDeck.

Y a Ixion qui vient de sortir sur Steam et Epic. Un genre de Frostpunk mais fans une station spatiale. Ça a l'air bien bien cool.

Y a juste le côté micro-management qui m'interroge : j'aime pas ce genre de jeu lorsqu'il faut tenir compte des spécificités individuelles (compétences spécifiques, etc), je trouve ça trop précis. J'espère que ça se rapproche plus de Frostpunk dans cet aspect-là.

Peut-être un achat dans quelques mois...
