Amazing that it's picking up the heat signature even with high cirrus moving overhead in this RGB Fire Temperature composite. Will be interesting to see how the imagery changes with time (and with different satellites like #JPSS #VIIRS)...

For #FullDiskFriday, look at 16-hour #timelaspe of #Antarctica from Jan. 15! The Cloud Cover Layer #RGB Product from #JPSS #satellites shows cloud distribution in the polar regions: Red=high altitude clouds, green=mid-level, blue=low. Also, white=high+mid+low & yellow=high+mid.
