It is believed that #MuseumOfIslamicArts have sold it off, to an unknown buyer.

Another Wine Cup of #Jahangir, the third #Mughal emperor of #India.
Made from Nephrite Jade, the name of the emperor is incised in #Nastaliq script round the rim and dated AH 1022 (AD 1613).
Presently, it is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, #London, #unitedkingdom

From the Al-Thani Collection, housed in the Museum of Islamic Art, #Qatar is this fabulous and earliest dated #Jade Wine Cup of any #Mughal emperor.
The central band is in #Sols #calligraphy and announces that it belonged to the #Mughal Emperor #Jahangir who ruled #India from AD 1605 to AD 1627.
The upper band is in #Nastaliq script and states that it was made in Jahangir's second year of rule, i.e. AD 1606-07.
