Gestern, am 26. Oktober 2022, um 12.45 Uhr, erließ die Richterin des #CommonPleas, Lucretia Clemons, einen Beschlussvorschlag, mit dem sie Mumia Abu-Jamals verfassungsrechtliche Ansprüche auf Befangenheit der Geschworenen und unterdrückte Beweise zurückwies.
Abu-Jamals #Verteidigungsantrag enthielt neu entdeckte Beweise, die in den Akten der #Staatsanwaltschaft selbst vergraben waren. Diese #Beweise dokumentierten, dass wichtige Zeugen Geld für ihre Aussagen versprochen bekamen und dass sie in anhängigen #Strafverfahren bevorzugt behandelt wurden. Die #Petition dokumentierte auch die abscheuliche und verfassungswidrige #Praxis, schwarze Geschworene während Mumias ursprünglichem Prozess auszuschließen.
