#DeweyRedman I saw a lot of Dewey. Live. I have most of his recorded output. When I listen to him (and you need to remember, Dewey could play #bebop as well as #JamesMoody) it occurs to me that there’s no one else in that sound and style. No Coltrane. No Pres. No Hawk. Not even any Ornette! Dewey was an underrated original. #jazz
