I heard the #NPR segment on today's 1/6 hearing. The focus was on how hard it is to prove criminal intent!!! OMG!

Q1: Why is this so hard for us when it was so straightforward in Germany?

Q2: If the sum total of what has been presented falls short, then why bother prosecuting any crime that requires proof of intent?

This is nuts.
