Well, finished reading #ruridragon kinda sad that there isn't more of this manga. Either way, fun manga. Also, great for #JapaneseLearning because it is relatively easy to read, partially because all of the text has furigana (the little hiragana/katakana symbols next to / on top of kanji, telling you how that kanji is pronounced).

Today in Japanese class we read the folk tale Urashima Tarō (浦島太郎) Among other things, it involves talking sea turtles, undersea castles, and time distortion. 🐢🌊🎁

The March issue of 「Newsがわかる」has arrived at the library (e edition). It has a spread on Banksy’s graffiti in Ukraine.
I recommend Newsがわかる to intermediate Japanese learners. My local library gets it. I’m not sure why but I won’t complain.

I'm still progressing through my #JapaneseLearning (WaniKani has been great so far for learning kanji/vocabulary) but I still find myself reading very slowly. I think I'll start flipping through my hirigana/katakana practice regularly again to help my memory a bit. I'm curious if anyone has any tips for helping a slow reader?

Can anyone recommend a good book or site for Japanese grammar? I need to learn particles, verb conjugation, and sentence structure. I'm using WaniKani and DuoLingo already. #japanese #JapaneseLearning

One of the fun things about learning the Japanese language is the fun of Kanji memorization.

Thankfully Chase Colburn's - Kanji Study app for android is very good. As is Anki. :)
