Problem authors - my favorite book series is the by , but I have to separate the author from the work. Likewise, I really enjoyed by , but I had to stop buying his books (explained in one of my past posts).

I'm too young to know everything, and too old to adjust quickly. Let me know about my mistakes, and I will try to do better.

The Dresden Files Book 5, “Death Masks”, from 2003.

The author, Jim Butcher, clearly has a lot of knowledge and love for the setting, .

He made very interesting interpretations of classic fairytale monsters.

He also set up some challenging side effects and limitations to working magic in the middle of the tech-saturated world at the turn of the century.

I will probably end up working my way through the whole series.
