Watched #TheSwimmer (1968) last night on #Tubi #BurtLancaster swims home through his swell Connecticut town, pool by pool. Interesting psychological spiral. Dappled sunlight, creepy eyes, obnoxious neighbors & subtle racism. #MadMen in a speedo. This film hasn’t aged well with many cringeworthy moments that weren’t uncommon back then. The #Swinging60s at its worst. Suddenly today doesn't seem so bad. A young #JoanRivers makes a cameo.
