Channel 4 crew descended with force upon the venue where I do volunteering work to film Joe Lycett vs David Beckham. The film crew took care of absolutely everything. We only had to cover emergency exits; btw these are my forte now... One thing we knew: while the show was being filmed, no one was allowed in or out of set. Show break? Possibly. When? No idea.
Due to an unfortunate timing, I was on my break when filming started. So I missed the whole show, in perpetuity.

Re #JoeLycett doing a reverse #banksy. While shredding #beckham (literally / metaphorically): The resigned look on his face, the saddened, but reflective contemplation. Joe didn't shred the money. He in fact donated it to #LGBTQ+ charities before even sending the initial video message to #DavidBeckham, because he knew (like everyone who's had their eyes open for the last several decades) DB is only interested in one thing, his own brand.

I didn't imagine for a moment that #JoeLycett would actually shred £10,000. Nor did I imagine that #DavidBeckham would be steadfast and sincere in his allyship.
