For today, I choose one of my very favourite contemporary #DutchComposers #JoeyRoukens with his utterly brilliant Concerto for two pianos ‘In Unison’ performed breathtakingly by Lucas and Arthur Jussen, with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic conducted by Karina Canellakis. Unfortunately, the hilariously difficult solo for kettledrums played by their father Paul is not in this movement. You’ll have to buy the album!
