I've been humming and hawing about whether to include Your Love Is Not Good by #JohannaHedva in my top books of 2023 list, but a couple weeks after finishing it, I feel like the fact that I'm still torn about it means that it was a good book, regardless of whether I loved it or hated it. And I think that's the intended feeling, given that a central theme is what good art is. A brief review I read said "this book feels like drowning", and that is entirely accurate.
