Here’s a sketch of Mississippi John Hurt, whose birthday was 2 days ago, March 8 (1893). Astonishingly great country-blues guitar picker. According to interviews, he enjoyed a peaceful life in northern MS (maybe the violent oppression in the region missed his small town?). Today, however, I found a gem in that swamp, the show I remember from my childhood: #JimHenson #TheStoryteller with amazing #JohnHurt.
That show is a masterpiece and must-watch not just for children, but even for us, adults, to see how tv series should be made.
I will definitely look for #soundtrack on CD by #RachelPortman.
